Amy is a graduate of Columbia University in New York City, where she majored in Art History. She moved to Blacksburg from Seattle, WA in 1995 to start a family in Virginia. She now has two beautiful daughters. 

Amy was a Top Producer for Long & Foster REALTORS for more than a decade (including winning the Salesperson of the Year award in 2000 and multiple diamond and platinum awards) until opening her own company, Re/Max 8 in 2008. The company has already grown - a second branch was opened in the fall of 2009.

Carol Lidgard, REALTOR, ABR 

Carol was born and resides in Giles County. She has been a REALTOR and a member of The Hudson Team since 2005. Subsequently, she earned her ABR and is working on her GRI designation. 

Prior to joining The Hudson Team, Carol earned 20 years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal, as well as, taking paralegal studies at New River Community College. Matt Hicks, REALTOR, ABR 

Matt has been working with Real Estate in the New River Valley since 1996. Through his investment in and management of rental properties, Matt has gained an extensive knowledge of the construction and operation of home systems.  

Matt became a member of The Hudson Team in 2005. He lives in Christiansburg, where he and his wife are raising three children.

Mark Muscar, REALTOR 

With a background in construction that spans fourteen years, Mark’s expertise in home renovations led him to invest in real estate. After using Amy Hudson as his agent in several investment transactions, Mark decided to make his personal interest a full time business in real estate. Originally from Warrenton, VA, Mark attended Longwood University. Mark moved to the New River Valley in 1994 and currently lives in Riner on acreage that allows him to enjoy country living. An outdoorsman, Mark plans to also concentrate in land sales.

Rachel Anker-Johnson, REALTOR 

Originally from Binghamton, NY, Rachel moved to the area in 1990. She graduated Cum Laude from Virginia Tech in 2005 with a degree in Finance, and her interest in real estate was peaked during Dr. Bonomo’s Real Estate Finance class.
